It's pivotal to note that appropriating techniques or compositions from other artists will be considered plagiarism, which is an inadmissible offense for this call. Inspiration from other works or artists can serve as a reference for your composition, but not an exact copy.

For all applicants, it is not allowed to allude to controversial topics, that is, no references to political, religious, gender inequality, or other sensitive issues. The size of the works will depend on the imagination of each creator.

One (1) work/garment per applicant will be accepted, under the previously established theme but with absolute and free creativity. The work must also include complete constituent elements and their respective assembly, ready for exhibition and transportation.

The International Art and Fashion Call CreativeMundi Fair and La Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana Benjamín Carrión - Núcleo del Guayas do not intend to stifle the creativity of the participants, but they do have a cultural responsibility to care for the artistic integrity of the other selected works. To avoid any situation that could put the other creations at risk, it is suggested that the works to be presented should preferably be on a canvas with a frame.

International
Call for Art & Fashion

CreativeMundi is directed towards all national and international creatives who wish to participate from anywhere in the world: fashion designers, visual artists/mixed media artists/digital artists, sculptors, and photographers.

The goal of CreativeMundi Fair is to create a sanctuary that embodies the importance of networking, where each work of art and/or design tells a story and demonstrates that each culture possesses unparalleled creativity and sophistication. This Call is the definitive emblem of artistic greatness and social prestige present in the art and fashion industries, inviting creatives to participate and achieve greater recognition and exposure of their talents.

All proposals with themes that use painting techniques will be accepted, on two-dimensional and/or three-dimensional mediums, and in different artistic expressions. The creations must be original and durable, considering that durability is related to the material used, and that it is a work that will be preserved and will not deteriorate over time. It is important that these types of compositions are made with suitable materials for their subsequent care. If you plan to work with wood, it is important to consider the weight and that it is well-treated and cured, as any work in this material could have some infestation and we want to avoid contaminating other works.

Requirements for Creatives

All art and fashion creatives who wish to submit their work must reference the theme of the September call, titled: Seasonal Splendor. This theme is about the four faces or phases of nature, so creatives must seek inspiration from the four seasons. For fashion applicants, the main requirement is that the fabric must be hand-painted, either creating a work of art in the design or simply painting the fabrics. For art applicants, the techniques that can be used are: oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, mixed media, digital art, photography, etc.
